Charity Projects – 2023

Theater activities are more effective way to inform the society with a needful positive message. In that context, creating awareness through theater activities by ITA. Substances misuse leads to several psychological impacts such as violence, suicide, child abuse, gender-based violent, family conflict, and road traffic accident. To prevent those, proper awareness programs should be carried out further at schools, higher studies institutes, apparel industries, and community level. NCFP has sponsored to conduct such awareness performances.

The Vanni Association for Visually Handicapped (VAFVH) is a non-profit organization located in the northern region of Sri Lanka. The organization has been providing assistance to approximately 278 families, many of whom were affected by the internal war in Sri Lanka. The primary focus of the VAFVH is to improve the well-being of blind and visually impaired individuals. To this end, the VAFVH has undertaken various projects such as livelihood projects, benefit-giving planting projects, fixed deposit projects, educational development projects, medical assistance, and more. Since the VAFVH relies heavily on donations from different countries to fund these projects, they decided to take a step towards generating income for the helpless people. They initiated a business venture that has provided ample job opportunities. Thus, the Vizhineer Oil Mill project was implemented to generate income to support the community in various ways. NCFPF is really proud of being a sponsor for this program.
